About the Brighton Mobility Score
The BMS is a 0–20 bedside description of current functional mobility, designed to provide a simple common language from bed bound to fully mobile.
The score is intended for healthcare use and should be interpreted alongside the clinical context. It does not replace clinical, physiotherapy or occupational therapy assessment.
